The objectives of the health and safety program are many. First and foremost, we care about all workers. We will ensure that safety programs are integrated into all operations. We will insist that you obey all legislation as it pertains and applies to your job in every area of our business.
N.S.E. 2000 INC is committed to ensuring its employees and property are protected from accidental loss.
In fulfilling this commitment, we will provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment as indicated by acceptable industry practices and compliance with legislative requirements and we will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in fires, security losses, damage to property and personal injuries/illnesses.
Accidental loss can be controlled through good management in combination with active employee involvement. Loss prevention is the direct responsibility of all managers and employees alike.
All employees of N.S.E.2000 INC are responsible to report all unsafe and unhealthy conditions to their supervisors and abide by all Health and Safety rules and regulations.
Environmental Policy Statement
N.S.E. 2000 INC recognizes the need to take every precaution necessary to protect all workplace parties from injury and illness that may result from known or unknown environmental conditions. N.S.E. 2000 INC implements the principles of overall protection of life, earth, air, and water as these play an integral role in our environment commitment.
To this end, N.S.E. 2000 INC shall take the following actions:
- Seek and provide information regarding environmental concerns with our clients and other workplace parties.
- Comply with environmental legislation, regulation, and standard practices.
- Support community-based environmental initiatives and consult with potentially affected parties to ensure community involvement and support in the Occupational Health and Safety Program environmental planning initiatives and process.
Maintaining environmental integrity is the responsibility of all workplace parties. All negative environmental acts or conditions must be reported to company management immediately. Maintaining environmental integrity will form part of our Occupational Health and Safety Program Hazard Assessment, Analysis, and Control.
N.S.E. 2000 INC, at its sole discretion, will determine the appropriate remedial action for any violation of its policies and programs. These steps include progressive discipline up to, and including, termination depending on the factual evidence and circumstances.
Furthermore, all workplace parties including company directors, managers, supervisors, foremen, employees, health and safety representatives, contractors, sub-contractors, and visitors shall support all environmental initiatives and health and safety policies to achieve our program policy objectives. This applies on an overall company level and on an individual project or job site, irrespective of size and scope.
